Here is a picture of our tuning slides lubes with the caps
removed. Both our lubes are odorless, non-toxic, and very
long-lasting. A little bit goes a long way!
To use the tuning slide lubes, put a dab of the lube onto the
tuning slide and rub it around with your fingers.
After pushing the tuning slide back into the horn, wipe off any
excess with a tissue.
Ultra-Pure Regular Tuning Slide Lube is used for all the tuning
slides of brass instruments to keep them in place but lubricated
enough to allow tuning adjustments. Our Light Tuning Slide Lube is
for the 1st and 3rd valve slides of better trumpets that must move
quickly and easily for adjusting the pitch of notes that are
naturally a bit sharp.
